Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate, IT Solutions, with a focus on ServiceNow CMDB Administration. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various IT teams and business partners to gather, analyze, develop, document, and communicate business requirements, ultimately contributing to the delivery of effective IT solutions.
Detailed Description
The Associate, IT Solutions, will perform a range of tasks to support the ServiceNow CMDB, including but not limited to:
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Collect, analyze, and document business requirements
Work with various IT teams to understand their CMDB needs and contribute to the development and delivery of IT solutions
Respond to system problems by analyzing the issue, identifying root causes and determining the next course of action
Participate in various IT projects as required
Assist in the ongoing maintenance and integrity of the ServiceNow CMDB
Assist in the development and documentation of workflows and processes related to CMDB data management and governance
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and collaborative approach
- Solid analytical, technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficiency in documentation, including the creation of clear and concise flowcharts and process diagrams
- Knowledge of the business area(s) supported by the CMDB and a good understanding of their associated business processes.
- Understanding of the interrelations between various IT components (software, OS, network devices, servers, etc.)
- Basic to good coding skills in specific programming languages relevant to ServiceNow (e.g., JavaScript) is a plus.
Typical Experience
2years of relevant work experience in ServiceNow.
Typical Education
Bachelors Degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
