Position Summary
The Service Technician diagnoses installation issues, assesses viable solutions, and drafts timelines to resolve, replace, or repair customer issues.
The role focuses on replacement windows and doors, vinyl siding, asphalt shingle roofing, and gutters and is performed primarily in the field with minimal supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Confirm scheduled services one to two days in advance.
- Prepare equipment and materials before scheduled appointments.
- Review customer details, service requirements, and special instructions before appointments.
- Perform services according to company standards and safety protocols.
- Complete assigned services within designated timeframes while maintaining quality and workmanship.
- Improve service delivery and customer satisfaction and provide feedback.
- Communicate promptly about issues requiring further resolution or investigation.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma and two to four years of related work experience are required.
- Significant home remodeling experience is required, specifically with replacement windows and doors, vinyl siding, asphalt shingle roofing, and gutters.
