Dundas Agri Systems is hiring a Service Technician for Poultry Equipment to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical agricultural equipment. The role requires bilingual English/French skills, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to work on-call.

Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical agricultural equipment and controls
- Setup, troubleshoot, and repair agricultural computer hardware and software
- Test and commission installed projects and equipment, including training customers
- Communicate with Service Manager to ensure scheduled calls are completed timely
- Complete and submit service orders and other paperwork daily
- Participate in on call rotation including evenings and weekends
- Provide exceptional customer service and support
Requirements
- Bilingual (English and French) with strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of electrical knowledge and understanding of safety procedures
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Understanding of Variable Frequency drives (VFDs)
- Previous custom wiring experience is an asset
- Previous PLC programming and or wiring experience is an asset
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs
- Valid driver's license

Job Overview
- AgriHub Inc. is looking for a Service Technician for Poultry Equipment to join Dundas Agri Systems in Brinston, Ontario.
- This hands on role involves installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and computerized equipment.
What you'll do
- Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical agricultural equipment and controls.
- Setup, troubleshoot, and repair agricultural computer hardware and software.
- Test and commission installed projects and equipment which includes review of installation, checking operation of motors, tracking belts and setting up controls, and training customer.
- Communicate with Service Manager to ensure scheduled calls are completed in a timely manner.
- Complete and submit service orders and other paperwork daily as required.
- Participate in an on call rotation including evenings and weekends as scheduled.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Continuous learning to improve skills through reading manuals and working alongside other Technicians.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs.
What you'll need
- Bilingual (English and French) with strong verbal and written communication skills is a requirement.
- High level of electrical knowledge and understanding of safety procedures.
- Previous custom wiring experience is an asset.
- Previous PLC programming and or wiring experience is an asset.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Understanding of Variable Frequency drives (VFDs).
- Exceptional Interpersonal skills in dealing with customers, sub contractors, and colleagues.
- Independently motivated with a desire to learn.
- Ability to periodically work out of town as required.
- Ability to be on call; including evenings and weekends.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: CAD 30.00 CAD 40.00 per hour.

Work Location
