Job Summary
Manage day-to-day operations of an automobile service department.
Own workshop performance, customer satisfaction, technician coordination, service quality, and service targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily workshop and service operations.
- Monitor technicians and service advisors and allocate work effectively.
- Ensure vehicles are serviced and delivered on time.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor service quality and conduct final quality checks.
- Achieve monthly service, labor, parts, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Monitor job cards, repair estimates, billing, and vehicle delivery.
- Coordinate with parts, sales, warranty, and insurance teams.
- Monitor warranty- and insurance-related service work.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities.
- Track department performance, prepare reports, and train service staff.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and company procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in an automobile workshop or service department is preferred.
- Good knowledge of vehicle servicing and repair processes.
