Role Overview
Entry-level Service Engineer role within the Service and Technical Support team.
The role supports machinery installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and customer technical service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior service engineers with installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Conduct inspections and identify mechanical faults or technical issues.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Assist in diagnosing machine breakdowns and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical specifications.
- Perform basic machine testing and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Visit customer sites to provide technical and after-sales support when required.
- Maintain service reports, installation records, and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with Service, Sales, and Technical teams to resolve customer issues.
- Follow company safety procedures and technical standards.
- Continuously develop knowledge of the company's machines, tools, and equipment.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering software is preferred.
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, gear systems, bearings, pneumatics, or similar mechanical components is preferred.
- Hands-on experience through academic projects, internships, or industrial training is advantageous.
