Role Overview
Hands-on Service Engineer role within the Operations and Technical team.
The role covers installation, servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electric vehicles, electrical and electronic components, and related equipment.
Location and Employment
- The position is based in Pune.
- This is a full-time role with in-person work and field or service travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electric vehicles and related equipment.
- Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical, and battery-related issues.
- Inspect vehicles and components, identify faults, and determine corrective actions.
- Install, test, commission, and replace technical components.
- Maintain service records, repair reports, and maintenance logs.
- Coordinate vehicle readiness with the Operations team.
- Handle on-site breakdowns and provide technical support.
- Test repaired vehicles and components for functioning and safety.
- Maintain spare-parts, tools, and service-equipment inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors and external service partners.
- Follow safety procedures and company standards.
