● Ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environment remains the number one priority
within the transport operation, providing a safe workplace for employees
● Manage the service delivery on a daily basis, including the dynamic planning of work to vehicles / routes, proactively communicating with customers, maintaining contact with drivers throughout the day, and undertaking debriefs
● Ensure that Service excellence is delivered, this includes:
○ Delivery of service. ○ Recovery (next working day) and communication of non-service/missed lifts ○ within company parameters ○ Assist the Service Manager to identify routing efficiencies and capacity. ○ Effective container stock level control and customer and driver communication
● Assist the Service Manager to ensure People management processes and procedures are adhered to in line with company policies. ● Deliver Toolbox Talks to drivers and operatives ● Conduct first stage formal investigations into accidents and incidents as directed by the Service Manager ● Adhere to and comply with all aspects of Operator Licence obligations ● Manage the day to day activities of all drivers at the depot including compliance, ● performance and leave entitlements ● Work closely with the Service Manage to deliver depot KPI’s

What we're looking for;
Essential:
Able to demonstrate an understanding of transport compliance and WTD
Good communication skills communicating with people of all levels including drivers, frontline employees and customers
Ability to organise a busy workload and operate at a fast pace Working with a quality management system e.g. ISO Managing transport compliance. Experienced IT Skills, and the ability to adapt to Google operating systems
Desirable:
Previous experience operating within a similar industry; waste/transport/logistics
