Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking 2 (two) ESI Systems Engineering Manager 2 to work with our Sentinel Systems Engineering, Integration, & Test (SEIT) Business Unit and be a contributing member of the System Integration and Sustainment (SIS) Enterprise Systems Integration (ESI) team.
This multi-tiered and multi-disciplined team assesses external interfaces and mission scenario operational threads across the Weapon System (WS).
The ESI org serves as system integrators to facilitate systems of systems interoperability and joint systems integration in partnership with customer counterparts and other key stakeholders across the enterprise.
This position may be located either in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program.
What you will get to do:
In this position the ESI Manager serve both as a technical team lead and will provide personnel support to the ESI organization.
This role will have responsibility for quality and technical execution of engineers and also interface with multiple stakeholders for external systems interfaces.
Candidates for this position must be able to understand the intent of WS integration at the highest levels and drive engineering processes & analyses to prove successful systems level integration.
The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate strong leadership and foundational systems engineering skills to drive process and technical gap resolution of interface and requirement design solutions to achieve program and contract objectives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, and the ideal candidate will have demonstrated success collaborating and leading Engineering teams.
The successful candidate must have the ability to lead teams in a fluid environment that requires teamwork with our Customer, NGC teams and suppliers to meet program objectives.
