- A full-time permanent position, working 35 hours per week, primarily Monday thru Friday.
- Hourly wage is $23.00 – 25.00 per hour.
- Three (3) weeks paid vacation, employee benefits & a professional development allowance is included, plus free parking, transit close by.

- Coordinate the delivery of Seniors' social programs; monitor program effectiveness and adjust programming content as required.
- Ensuring rooms are set-up to serve the programming and participant needs.
- Ensure proper room take-down and clean-up is done in accordance with current health and safety requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with Seniors program participants and address any questions, suggestions, concerns when they arise.
- Assist with the advertising and promotion of Seniors programming at Parkgate.
- Grow evening programming for young Seniors.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new programs and events.
- Connect with vulnerable populations to offer assistance.
- Perform duties and responsibilities that arise, based on the needs of the program.
- Food Safe certification.
- Criminal Records check clearance.
- Valid safety oriented First Aid certificate.
- Strong working knowledge and experience working in a not-for-profit, particularly in a community based and/or social service organization in programming.
- Specific previous experience working in or with seniors' programming and services.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork, facilitation, public speaking and leadership skills.
- Strong ability to adapt and pivot in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Critical to the role is the strong ability to work effectively and build strong working relationships with a broad range of program staff, volunteers, not-for-profit or publicly funded groups and agencies.
