Senior Workstation Engineer

Job Summary

Essential Duties

• Provide infrastructure strategy, architecture, roadmap, and technical recommendations to IT leadership.
• Provide onsite second- and third-level technical support and work toward root-cause remediation.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and sustainable infrastructure designs.
• Build and validate infrastructure solutions, physical architecture designs, and system prototypes.
• Perform systems integration, component integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide budget input for workstation technology development and maintenance.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development.
• Monitor incidents, troubleshoot complex issues, and recommend action plans.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for End-User Services.
• Manage software asset lifecycle, inventory, licensing, compliance, reporting, reclamation, and cost optimization.

Experience and Education

• Typically 8 or more years of workstation engineering, endpoint management, Windows or Mac administration, infrastructure support, and related enterprise technology experience.
