- Working days are Monday to Friday, with Saturday and Sunday off.
About the Role
AAAGENCY is seeking an experienced WordPress Developer with strong WordPress core and modern web development expertise.
The role focuses on building custom WordPress solutions, translating UI/UX designs into responsive websites, and delivering performance-focused work.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Build custom page templates and Gutenberg blocks.
- Convert Figma and other UI designs into responsive WordPress websites.
- Create clean, semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP code.
- Implement smooth animations and interactive user experiences.
- Ensure pixel-perfect responsiveness across devices and browsers.
- Manage website deployments, hosting, and server-related tasks when required.
- Optimize websites for performance, security, and SEO best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience with WordPress core development.
- Excellent knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with Gutenberg and custom block development.
- Strong understanding of WordPress template hierarchy, hooks, filters, and custom post types.
- Familiarity with ACF, WooCommerce, REST APIs, and headless WordPress.
- Ability to build custom plugins and themes without relying on page builders.
- Strong attention to design details and responsive development.
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
- Basic Linux/server administration and hosting management.
- Knowledge of website performance optimization and caching.
Salary
- The salary is AED 8,000–9,000 per month.
