Production Resource Group is seeking a Senior Video Engineer to deliver video solutions for special events, corporate, and concert markets. The role involves designing, installing, and operating video equipment, including LED and projection systems, and requires 5+ years of experience in the live events industry.

Responsibilities
- Work as part of the team in the design, preparation, installation and operation of all video equipment
- Maintain and update technical documentation regularly
- Ensure equipment software is current and licenses are obtained as required
- Ensure an acceptable working pace is maintained in the department
- Identify common faults within the prep process and report to the Video Operations Manager
- Test new and repaired hardware and software before full scale installation
- Safety label and store customer content
- Inform the Video Operations Manager of any shortages of equipment / consumables for forthcoming jobs
- Support the department with routine maintenance and repair of equipment where needed
- Ensure the Company’s quality standards are maintained at all times
- Keep up to date with the latest technology within the department
- Ensure all equipment is ready to work as required during the event and undertake responsibility for show operating
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar role within the live events industry
- Ability to calculate equipment power requirements, server output, pixel counts, and processor loading for LED and projection projects
- Experience working and operating on large scale special events, concerts, and corporate event environments
- Excellent understanding of Network Architecture, Projection, Camera and Media Server systems
- Installation, configuration and dismantle of LED Technology
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Full clean driving license
- Computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications

Overview
- Working as part of the Video Department, our Senior Video Engineers will assist the department leads in delivering quality video solutions to our clients in the Special Events, Corporate and Concert markets.
- Developing and delivering solutions in exciting and challenging environments and against tight deadlines, our Senior Engineers drive the onsite teams to ensure excellence is achieved in all aspects of delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ yrs experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of the live events industry.
- Calculation of equipment power requirements for projects
- Calculation of server output requirement, pixel counts and processor loading capacity for LED projects
- Calculation of server output requirement, pixel counts, Lux levels and blends for projection
- Experience working and operating on large scale specials events, concert and the corporate event environments.
- Computer skills, including all Microsoft Office applications is essential.
- Excellent understanding of Network Architecture, Projection, Camera and Media Server systems.
- Installation, configuration and dismantle of LED Technology
- Must display a positive attitude both in the warehouse and on site.
- Methodical and analytical approach to work with good fault finding skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to cope well under pressure and capable of working to deadlines.
