Senior Video Editor

This role owns the post-production for Relativity Space and will assist on the production side as well. You’ll be editing the videos that tell the story of Terran R and shape external and internal perception of the company. As a member of the Communications & Brand team, you’ll work with the Manager of Media Production to turn footage into high-quality and compelling videos. The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable editor that will help tell the story of Terran R. This role is geared towards someone who has experience across commercial, branded, documentary, social, and narrative focused content.

Edit world-class video content from rough cut to final delivery incorporating color correction, sound design, and motion graphics in the final exports

Manage large-scale media asset ingestion, organization, cataloging, and archiving with a focus on efficiency and scalability

Provide editorial guidance in pre-shoot meetings, on-site, and in post-production that aligns with the goals of the team

Translate creative briefs, brand strategies, and business needs into high-impact, creative videos

Work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and build relationships and trust with stakeholders, peers and working groups

Assist our production team with operating cameras as needed during shoots

About You:

Bachelor's degree in Film or Media Production, or a related field

7+ years of experience as an editor within a collaborative environment with a portfolio demonstrating a wide range of projects and different editing styles

Pro-level fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere and After Effects

Strong attention to detail and project organization with an ability to deliver quality work on-time in a fast-paced environment

Ability to juggle multiple editing projects and deadlines in parallel

Availability to make frequent trips to our locations in Stennis, MS and Cape Canaveral, FL and work on a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends

Nice to haves but not required:

Experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, technology, or other engineering-led industries

Strong understanding of brand campaigns, art direction and social/digital media ecosystems

Experience with animation software including Cinema4D and Blender
