Senior Upstream Product Manager

• Help decide what products we build next - not just how we market them based on VOC, market trends and opportunities.
• Blend technical expertise with business strategy – influencing the development of new hardware, firmware, software, and connected products.
• Shape the future of the Fieldpiece connected ecosystem.

• Become a trusted expert in your product portfolio – roadmap, market, opportunities, etc.
• Build relationships with customers and engineering teams to be strategic and hands-on throughout the launch of innovative connected products.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical discipline.
• 10+ years of upstream product management, product marketing, or product strategy experience in a new product environment.
• Strong technical background with experience working on connected or IoT product experience with hardware, firmware and software solutions.
• Experience partnering closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle and proven success bringing technical products from concept through commercialization.
• Expertise in translating Voice of Customer (VOC), market research, and product strategy into product requirements and understanding tradeoffs, priorities, costs, etc.
• Outstanding communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into compelling customer value propositions.

• HVACR, industrial equipment, instrumentation, or professional tools experience.
• MBA or advanced technical degree.
