FaSa Animation Studio is building Dragon Match - a casual mobile match-3 with a word-building twist.
Think Candy Crush meets Wordscapes, wrapped in a fantasy dragon world where the player's hero dragon evolves with every word built.
We have the design.
We have the art.
We have the testers, the designers, and the operations side covered.
We need one senior Unity developer to build it.
The Role
You'll own the technical build of Dragon Match from MVP through soft launch on Google Play.
End-to-end.
Single point of technical accountability.
This is not a "junior on a team of ten" role.
You'll work directly with the founder, ship to fixed milestones, and walk away with shipped credit on a real mobile title.
What You'Ll Own
→ Core gameplay: match-3 grid, special tiles, cascade logic, level progression
→ Word-building layer: letter collection, dictionary validation (English first, localization-ready)
→ Dragon evolution system: visual states, progression tied to word completion
→ Backend: Firebase or PlayFab - auth, save sync, leaderboards, remote config, analytics
→ Monetization: Unity LevelPlay or AppLovin MAX (rewarded, interstitial), Unity IAP
→ Deployment: Google Play + App Store builds, TestFlight, internal testing, store listing technical setup
→ Live ops basics: Crashlytics, version updates, and post-launch maintenance
Must Have
→ 5+ years professional Unity / C# experience
→ At least one shipped mobile game on Google Play and/or App Store (link required)
→ Match-3, puzzle, or casual game architecture experience
→ Hands-on experience with a major backend SDK (Firebase, PlayFab, or equivalent)
→ Hands-on experience with ad mediation (LevelPlay, AppLovin, AdMob)
→ Mobile performance optimization (60fps on mid-range Android)
→ Git workflow comfort (GitHub or Plastic SCM)
→ Strong written English
Nice To Have
→ Word game/dictionary system experience
→ Localization architecture (Arabic support a plus, given our market)
→ 2D Spine animation integration (the dragon mascot)
→ Unity Cloud Build or equivalent CI/CD pipeline experience
→ Past indie or solo shipped title

Engagement
→ Contract, project-based, fixed milestones
→ 100% remote (timezone overlap with GMT+4 preferred but flexible)
→ Estimated 5-7 months to soft launch
→ Compensation: fixed across milestones (negotiable based on portfolio and ownership scope)
→ Performance bonus tied to soft launch delivery
