Position summary
USP Digital Private Limited is seeking a Senior Unity Developer and Team Lead.
The role develops visually engaging and highly interactive mobile applications using Unity for multiple platforms, especially mobile.
The role works with designers, back-end developers, product managers, and the management team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, design, develop, and implement front-end mobile application features using Unity.
- Translate UI/UX designs into functional and interactive applications.
- Optimize applications for mobile performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Develop and maintain consistent experiences across iOS and Android.
- Integrate APIs, data, and third-party services with designers and back-end developers.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues, and conduct thorough testing.
- Maintain clean, modular, and documented code according to coding standards.
- Stay current with Unity features, industry trends, and mobile development best practices.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of proven Unity mobile application development experience and a strong project portfolio.
- Proficiency in C#, Unity2D, Unity3D, and Unity UI tools and components.
- Experience implementing UI/UX designs in Unity and understanding mobile design principles.
- Knowledge of mobile memory and frame-rate optimization techniques.
- Experience with cross-platform development and iOS and Android build processes.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, game development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Git and build automation tools is preferred.
- High familiarity with AI for coding and developing Agentic AI is preferred.
- Understanding business metrics and data analysis is a bonus.
- Familiarity with graphics and animation techniques in Unity is preferred.
Workplace and employment
- The position is in Mumbai and is onsite, full time in the office.
