The primary responsibility of this role is to perform functional and performance testing of Cloud Native Database features.

The engineer will work closely with feature architects, developers, product owners, and managers to understand feature specifications early in the development lifecycle and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.

This position also involves test automation, defect isolation, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and supporting developers in resolving issues.

The ideal candidate should have good programming, strong RDBMS/SQL/Automation/Testing skills, along with the ability to develop functional or performance test plans.

• Primarily responsible for functional and performance testing of cloud-native database features
• Quickly understand complex features from functional and technical perspectives
• Develop test specification documents based on functional and performance requirements
• Design, automate, and execute test cases in accordance with approved test plans
• Adapt effectively to evolving feature requirements in an agile development environment
• Support pre and post merge activities as part of end-to-end testing
