About the role
CNN Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to drive development, release, and continuous improvement of digital products.
The role serves as delivery lead for three Scrum teams within CNN’s Platforms group.
The focus is roadmap delivery and dependency management for the Editorial Experience group.
Program leadership and execution
- Own end-to-end technical program management for CMS, editorial workflows, and editorial tooling used across CNN digital platforms.
- Develop program plans aligned to product roadmaps, organizational objectives, and user needs.
- Define delivery standards and the operating model for the Editorial Experience group.
- Coordinate dependent teams, define requirements, manage dependencies, and deliver outcomes on schedule.
- Drive architecture, solution design, and testing discussions with engineering teams.
- Sequence delivery, define release plans and launch criteria, and manage go/no-go checkpoints.
- Track progress, resolve conflicts, and manage risks and dependencies.
- Design and optimize workflows across Scrum teams from ideation through release.
