Job Description
Job Title: Senior Technical Intelligence Analyst
Understanding the capabilities, limitations, and future direction of foreign weapon systems and emerging technologies is fundamental to maintaining the Nation's strategic and operational advantage. This position supports the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) through the Advisory Support & Technical Requirement Administration (ASTRA) effort, providing advanced technical analysis and advisory support to one of the Department of the Air Force's premier scientific and technical intelligence missions.
Working alongside Government intelligence professionals, engineers, scientists, data specialists, and mission partners, you will help transform complex technical information into authoritative intelligence and actionable recommendations for senior leaders, acquisition organizations, operational commands, and the broader Intelligence Community.
In this role, you will provide technical intelligence analysis and decision support across complex air, space, cyber, missile, ISR, electronic warfare, and emerging technology mission areas. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conduct detailed research and analysis of foreign systems, technologies, capabilities, performance, vulnerabilities, and emerging threat developments.
Integrate information from multiple technical and intelligence sources to develop defensible assessments and identify intelligence gaps.
Perform technical studies, comparative analyses, trade studies, and Analysis of Alternatives supporting intelligence and mission requirements.
Evaluate system concepts, architectures, designs, performance characteristics, operating principles, and technology maturity.
Analyze complex scientific, engineering, operational, and intelligence data to identify trends, relationships, anomalies, and mission implications.
