Role Overview
PPA is seeking a Technical Engineer Expert to support delivery of a hyperscale data centre project in Qatar.
The role reviews and validates technical submissions across disciplines, ensuring design intent, constructability, and compliance with client, hyperscaler, and code requirements.
The role represents the General Contractor in technical matters with the Client and PMC.
Technical Review and Coordination
- Review and validate material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, RFIs, testing and commissioning documentation, and other technical submissions.
- Lead preparation, review, and validation of Sequences of Operations and support resolution of design, construction, and commissioning issues.
- Lead coordination and closure of Commissionability Review comments with engineers, contractors, consultants, and Client SMEs.
- Identify discrepancies, design conflicts, constructability concerns, non-conformances, and compliance gaps and recommend practical resolutions.
- Review engineering deliverables across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and ELV disciplines.
