Scotiabank is looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to liaise between business stakeholders and internal engineering teams. The role involves leading discussions, resolving problems, and ensuring solutions are delivered on time. Strong technical skills in SQL and Python are required, along
Responsibilities
- Lead discussions and demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
- Lead medium to large size changes/projects.
- Support production issues and handle escalations during Release cycles as needed.
- Coordinate with upstream and downstream operational teams to ensure issues and operational changes are properly communicated to stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver Technical Specification Documents, Design Documents, Use Cases, and Process Models as required.
Requirements
- Experience working across multiple teams and functions to ensure alignment.
- 3+ years of practical experience in capital markets or retail credit.
- Strong scripting ability to create and run queries using SQL and Python.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Recognized undergraduate degree or diploma in business administration, computer science, or related field.
