Role overview
The Senior Technical Business Analyst will support insurance-sector initiatives that improve business performance, streamline operations, and support innovation.
The role focuses on systems integration, procurement technology, business process improvement, and user enablement.
Contract and compensation
- The salaried rate is CAD 55 to CAD 62 per hour.
- The incorporated business rate is CAD 64 to CAD 72 per hour.
- This is a 19-month contract with potential for permanent employment.
- The schedule is daytime for 37.5 hours per week.
Work arrangement
- The role is hybrid, with three days per week in the office.
Key responsibilities
- Design and optimize business processes with cross-functional teams.
- Lead requirements workshops and translate needs into system configurations.
- Provide advanced business systems support and perform maintenance, updates, and upgrades.
- Support system implementation, enterprise integration, project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Manage vendors, contracts, and service level agreements.
- Evaluate technologies that can improve business functions.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Provide user support, training, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Project management certification, such as PMP, or a related qualification.
- Experience as an IT Analyst or in a similar business systems support role.
- Experience with varied business systems and technologies.
- Familiarity with ERP integration, eProcurement systems such as Ivalua, and Contract Lifecycle Management solutions.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.
