Responsibilities
- Prepare and review detailed shop drawings, particularly for bespoke joinery items
- Translate architectural and ID design intent into executable technical drawings
- Conduct regular site visits to verify conditions and resolve technical issues
- Ensure joinery details are practical, efficient for production, and align with factory capabilities
- Coordinate with joinery production teams, subcontractors, and project managers

Requirements

Job Summary
- Seeking a highly competent and detail oriented Senior Technical Architect with strong experience in production of original shop drawings as per UAE standards and solid background in joinery works.
- Ideal candidate should be capable of conducting site visits, making informed technical decisions, and supervising technical draftsmen.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review detailed shop drawings, particularly for bespoke joinery items (custom furniture, wall cladding, cabinetry, doors, reception desks, wardrobes, etc.) according to project and UAE authority standards.
- Translate architectural and ID design intent into executable technical drawings, ensuring constructability and compliance with material specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify actual conditions, resolve technical/site issues, and adjust drawings accordingly.
- Ensure joinery details are practical, efficient for production, and align with factory capabilities and installation requirements.
- Coordinate with joinery production teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure proper execution of custom joinery works.
- Lead and supervise a team of technical draftsmen, checking their drawings for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and contractors throughout project stages to ensure integrated and conflict free documentation.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and fabrication technologies related to joinery and fit out.
Requirements
