Senior Tech Lead / Solutions Architect (Regulatory-Aware)

Overview

• 🚀 We’re hiring a Senior Tech Lead / Solutions Architect (Regulatory-Aware) to join Arbeat at a founding level.
• Arbeat is a VARA-regulated fintech ecosystem in Dubai, building digital asset infrastructure across crypto exchange (CEX), RWA tokenization, and payments.
• We’re moving from licensing to full operations and this role will shape how our systems are built from day one.
• We’re looking for a hands-on technical leader who can bridge regulatory requirements with system architecture.
• What you’ll be doing:
• Translate regulatory requirements (VARA, KYC/AML, licensing) into scalable system architecture
• Design compliance-first infrastructure (audit trails, reporting, KYT integration)
• Own technical documentation for regulatory submissions and licensing
• Define backend and infrastructure architecture across a multi-product ecosystem
• Work closely with compliance/legal teams to ensure regulatory alignment
• Review smart contract architecture and blockchain integrations
• What we’re looking for:
• 7+ years in backend/infrastructure or systems architecture
• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or regulated environments
• Strong understanding of KYC/AML and regulatory frameworks
• Ability to produce clear technical + regulatory documentation
• Exposure to blockchain / smart contracts (conceptual is fine)
• Strong English communication (regulator-facing)
• Nice to have:
• Experience with VARA, MiCA, FCA or similar
• Background in crypto exchanges or tokenization platforms
• Cloud/DevOps experience (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to compliance automation / legal tech
