Key Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering efforts across complex software-driven platforms • Translate mission requirements into technical system architectures • Support development of distributed systems and data pipelines • Work closely with software engineers implementing systems using technologies such as Kafka, containerized services, and cloud infrastructure • Define and manage system interfaces, data flows, and integration points • Conduct system design reviews, architecture evaluations, and trade studies • Support integration of mission systems across multiple operational domains • Develop technical documentation, including CONOPS, system architecture diagrams, and interface definitions • Collaborate with program leadership and engineering teams to ensure mission requirements are met
