Position Overview

Location and Work Setting

Systems Engineering Duties
- Perform end-to-end systems engineering for C4I capabilities including GCCS, NAVMACS, radios and antennas, Tactical Data Links, CENTRIXS, network communications, SATCOM, ADSI, and related systems.
- Conduct technical site surveys, capture as-built configurations, and translate operational needs into engineering requirements.
- Plan and execute SOVTs, develop test procedures, witness installations, document discrepancies, and drive resolution.
- Research COTS products including radars, GPS, AIS, radio direction finding, EO cameras, GMDSS, APS, CCTV, video display, and VTC systems.
- Conduct Analysis of Alternatives and provide trade studies with recommendations.
- Support SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR Systems Engineering and Technical Reviews and present engineering artifacts.
- Author and sanitize technical documentation for foreign disclosure review.
- Interface with U.S. Government program managers and senior RSNF military and government officials.
- Contribute to the Integrated Master Schedule and brief schedule status using MS Project and MS PowerPoint.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and escalate cost, schedule, or performance impacts to the Program Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field from an accredited college or university and five or more years of experience.
- Active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain it.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Five or more years of experience supporting C4I systems.
- Three or more years of experience with COTS equipment.
- Experience working OCONUS in security cooperation efforts with U.S. Government or foreign senior military or government officials.
- Expertise with foreign disclosure, technical documentation sanitization, site surveys, SOVTs, or COTS product alternatives analyses.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to C4I systems and network communications.
Desired Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience with NAVWAR prime mission products and SETR activities.
- Completion of DISAM Security Cooperation Management courses or DISAM International Affairs Certification Level 1 or above.
- Experience working in austere locations or Middle Eastern nations supporting security cooperation or foreign customers.
- Proficiency developing and presenting Integrated Master Schedules using MS Project, MS PowerPoint, or similar tools.
- A master’s degree in an engineering field.
Schedule and Travel
- The position is full-time with a day-job schedule.
- Travel is required for approximately 25 percent of the time.
- The role requires compliance with OCONUS work, security, and country-clearance requirements.
Documentation Requirements
The selected candidate must maintain a valid U.S. passport and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia work documentation.
Technical documentation must be suitable for foreign disclosure release and coordinated with the U.S. Government Foreign Disclosure Office.
