Position Overview

SAIC is seeking Senior Systems Engineers for the U.S. Navy's Foreign Military Sales C4I modernization program for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces.

The role supports the NAVWAR program office in Riyadh and Jubail, Saudi Arabia, with work performed on site.

The position involves interaction with U.S. Government and senior Saudi military and government officials.

Work Details

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end systems engineering for C4I capabilities including GCCS, NAVMACS, radios, tactical data links, SATCOM, ADSI, and related systems.
  • Conduct technical site surveys at RSNF facilities, capture as-built configurations, and translate operational needs into engineering requirements.
  • Plan and execute SOVTs, develop test procedures, witness installations, document discrepancies, and drive resolution.
  • Conduct COTS product alternatives analysis and provide trade studies with recommendations.
  • Support SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR technical reviews and present engineering artifacts.
  • Author and sanitize technical documentation for foreign disclosure review.
  • Interface with NAVWAR personnel and senior RSNF officials.
  • Contribute to the IMS, brief schedule status, and identify and mitigate technical risks.
  • Comply with OCONUS work, security, and country-clearance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field from an accredited college or university and at least five years of experience.
  • Active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain it.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • At least five years supporting C4I systems such as GCCS, NAVMACS, tactical data links, radios, SATCOM, or similar systems.
  • At least three years working with COTS equipment such as radars, GPS, EO cameras, CCTV, or VTC systems.
  • OCONUS security cooperation experience with U.S. Government or foreign senior military or government officials.
  • Expertise in foreign disclosure, technical documentation sanitization, site surveys, SOVTs, or COTS alternatives analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to C4I systems and network communications.

Desired Qualifications

  • At least three years with NAVWAR prime mission products and SETR.
  • DISAM Security Cooperation Management coursework or DISAM International Affairs Certification Level 1 or above.
  • Experience in austere locations or with Middle Eastern foreign customers.
  • Experience developing and presenting IMS schedules using MS Project, MS PowerPoint, or similar tools.
  • A master's degree in an engineering field.
