Senior Systems Engineer (Rail)

What you will be doing

Responsibilities include

• Applying Systems Engineering principles and techniques to define, integrate and deliver complex multi‑disciplinary engineering solutions
• Leading and supporting requirements management and Verification & Validation (V&V) activities, including: Developing project requirements from the Client Remit and managing change Managing traceability and satisfaction linkages across multiple requirement levels Apportioning requirements into delivery scope packages Supporting verification and undertaking validation activities
• Developing project requirements from the Client Remit and managing change

• Supporting verification and undertaking validation activities
• Managing the integration of infrastructure change with Operations and Maintenance organisations
• Supporting and overseeing systems integration testing
• Producing and implementing: Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMP) Systems Integration Plans (SIP) RAM / SRAM Plans, including support to setting RAM targets
• Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMP)

• RAM / SRAM Plans, including support to setting RAM targets
• Preparing and reviewing technical reports, studies and programmes of work
• Supporting the application of CDM Regulations and Safe‑by‑Design principles
• Providing guidance, review and mentoring support to more junior engineers
