Senior Systems Engineer (Primary Technical Lead) (MD, Leonardtown)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical lead for infrastructure projects and daily operations
• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise systems and networks
• Manage Windows Server environments (e.g., Microsoft Windows Server) and virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Configure and maintain enterprise firewalls, switches, and routers (e.g., Cisco Systems, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks)
• Oversee cloud and hybrid environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
• Implement and maintain security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
• Troubleshoot complex Tier 3 incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Document systems, processes, and standard operating procedures
