Senior Systems Engineer (44120)

The role requires the following experience and skills:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering recognized by Engineers Australia

Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience or equivalent experience

Experience working in the Defence industry is a preference, though operating within a complex, large international business will also be considered

Experience in supporting small and large scale engineering projects

A background in sustainment will be highly regarded.

Desirable:

Knowledge of HF, VHF, UHF and Narrowband SATCOM Systems

Experience with mobile networking within a tactical environment and tactical data messaging

Knowledge of secure voice and data systems including an understanding of cryptographic equipment

Experience with verification, especially test procedure development.
