Role Overview
General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada is seeking Senior Systems Engineering Analysts for its Headquarters Systems Engineering team.
The team supports the Canadian Armed Forces C5ISR-T program, an integrated tactical system covering communications, networking, battle management, and information management.
The role is based at either the Ottawa or Calgary facility and includes requirements development, MBSE modelling, and operational use-case analysis.
Responsibilities
- Elicit and define system requirements and desired capabilities with the Department of National Defence customer.
- Develop activity, sequence, use case, and block definition diagrams for mission scenarios and use cases.
- Develop system requirements, interface specifications, and end-to-end information flows.
- Manage traceability from higher-level requirements to lower-level requirements and test artifacts.
- Use MBSE techniques to develop operational and system views according to DNDAF and UAF.
- Support verification and validation, review test cases, and produce Verification Cross Reference Matrices.
- Present status updates and conduct reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Own deliverables and work products while meeting program commitments and milestones.
