Role Overview
Hands-on Senior Systems Engineer role supporting and enhancing a complex enterprise environment.
The role leads technical initiatives, provides Level 3 support, and delivers secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure solutions.
The position is described as hybrid in Melbourne's East.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 infrastructure support and technical escalation.
- Design, deploy, and support VMware, ESXi, RDS/VDI, Cisco UCS, and NetApp environments.
- Manage and secure Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD platforms.
- Administer SCCM and Intune environments.
- Implement IAM, SSO, federation, privileged access, and security controls.
- Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Create technical documentation and support infrastructure projects.
- Participate in an on-call roster.
Required Experience
- At least 7 years of experience in systems or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong experience with VMware, Cisco UCS, NetApp, SCCM, Intune, and enterprise Microsoft environments.
- Expertise in Azure, AWS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, IAM, SAML, OAuth, and PKI.
