Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Officer to join its team in Qatar.
The role requires hands-on experience in food manufacturing or the food industry, including warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, manufacturing, and product movement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse operations including coding, arranging, receiving, storing, and issuing items.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, transfers, and item requests.
- Ensure accurate SKU coding, classification, and warehouse organization.
- Coordinate materials and finished products between manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, and sales.
- Manage logistics and distribution activities for timely product delivery.
- Coordinate raw materials, production requirements, and finished goods with manufacturing.
- Coordinate product availability and order fulfillment with sales.
- Manage product movement from manufacturing through warehouse, logistics, retail, and consumers.
- Maintain inventory records, stock reconciliation, and stock control.
- Handle batches, expiry dates, FIFO/FEFO, and product traceability where applicable.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, or logistics.
