AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for its multidisciplinary Water Team.
The role focuses on technical delivery across diverse water and wastewater infrastructure programmes and projects.
The position offers technical expert development and flexible hybrid working.
What you will do
- Design and review structural elements for water-retaining structures and other water infrastructure assets from concept through construction.
- Collaborate with clients and AECOM teams to secure stakeholder support for technical solutions.
- Produce and review calculations, drawings, and technical reports to relevant standards and procedures.
- Deliver work to agreed budget, programme, and quality requirements and support project planning.
- Explore innovative methods and provide technical mentoring to junior staff.
What we are looking for
- Civil or Structural Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Structural analysis and design experience involving reinforced concrete and steelwork structures.
- Experience using BIM and 3D design tools in a digital delivery environment.
- Membership of, or progress toward membership of, ICE, IStructE, or another relevant professional institution.
