Responsibilities
Structural Design and Analysis:
Lead the structural design and analysis of transportation infrastructure projects, including bridges, tunnels, viaducts, retaining walls, and other related structures, in accordance with client requirements, international standards, and industry best practices.
Conduct structural assessments, load calculations, and finite element analyses to evaluate structural performance, durability, and resilience under various loading conditions.
Construction Supervision and Quality Assurance:
Provide technical oversight and guidance during the construction phase of structural projects, conducting regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with engineering specifications and contractual requirements.
Implement rigorous quality assurance and control measures to ensure that construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs and standards.
Value Engineering and Innovation:
Identify opportunities for value engineering and innovation to optimize structural designs, enhance construction methodologies, and achieve cost savings without compromising structural integrity or performance.
Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to explore alternative design solutions and implement best practices in structural engineering.
Risk Management and Safety Compliance:
Identify, assess, and mitigate structural risks associated with construction activities, material selection, and environmental factors, implementing proactive measures to ensure the safety and resilience of built structures.
Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and best practices, promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability among project stakeholders.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on site supervision within the construction consultancy sector.
Professional engineering license or equivalent certification preferred.
Extensive knowledge and experience in structural design, analysis, and construction of transportation infrastructure projects, including bridges, tunnels, viaducts, and retaining walls.
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro) and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, manage project budgets and schedules, and deliver successful outcomes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Proven track record of successfully delivering structural engineering projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and innovation.
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills would be advantageous.
