Role overview
SSOE Group is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer to participate in diverse global projects for high-tech companies.
The position delivers structural design services on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design steel and concrete industrial structures and heavy equipment supports using AutoCAD.
- Produce detailed AutoCAD 2D structural drawing packages with plans, views, notes, and connection details.
- Interpret manufacturing data, vendor information, field measurements, and as-built conditions.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, project managers, design leads, and other disciplines.
- Attend project kickoff, review, and coordination meetings.
- Perform structural calculations or structural analysis based on academic and professional background.
- Ensure drawings satisfy project requirements and deadlines.
Work schedule
- Work eight hours with a split schedule from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 8:00 p.m. to midnight to overlap with US teams.
- Late evening work may be required for meetings with US counterparts and project needs.
