The Senior Structural Designer works in the Dubai office in a full-time capacity.
The role leads structural design development for buildings and industrial facilities.
Design responsibilities
- Prepare and review structural drawings and models.
- Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure designs meet safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.
- Check and optimize structural systems for concrete and steel structures.
- Resolve design issues during construction.
Coordination and quality
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Participate in client and contractor meetings.
- Support supervision teams with design clarifications.
- Contribute to quality control and compliance with local codes and international standards.
Qualifications
- Strong structural and civil engineering proficiency for building and industrial projects.
- Ability to develop and interpret construction drawings, structural plans, sections, and reinforcement schedules.
- Hands-on experience with CAD and related structural design software.
- Specialized steel design experience covering analysis and detailing of frames and connections.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of Dubai and UAE building codes and relevant international standards.
- Consultancy experience, project management ability, analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.
