About the Role
GHD is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to design and develop structural systems for building and infrastructure projects.
The role covers structural engineering delivery across reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, water-retaining structures, and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design structural systems for building projects in compliance with local authority requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members on innovative, cost-effective solutions.
- Review engineering designs for quality and safety.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians.
- Apply quality assurance and quality control procedures throughout project execution.
- Coordinate with MEP, architecture, and utilities disciplines.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or structural engineering is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of structural engineering experience focused on building structure design is required.
- Experience with building, water-retaining, steelwork, or related infrastructure design is required.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with MEP, architecture, and utilities is required.
