Senior Structural/BIM Designer

Respect and enforce policies and procedures in the preparation of drawings.

Realize the different stages of the project in the timeframes and budgets.

Run clash detection exercises and do the necessary corrections

Perform other related duties that may contribute to the projects.

Mentor junior designers through project assignments

The successful candidate will possess the skills and experience listed below:

Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in structural design, specifically in creating 3D structural models of concrete and steel structures in the built environment sector.

Hold an associates or higher degree in automated drawing or civil/structural engineering technology or in a related field or working to obtain their degree.

Experience working in construction, as an asset.

Have good communication skills (oral and written) in English

Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD 3D, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Naviswork, Dynamo, Safe and MS Office is essential.

Knowledge of ProjectWise, Rhino, Rhino Inside Revit, Grasshopper, CSIxRevit is an added benefit

Ability to work to meet cost objectives, quality, and deadlines.

Time management skills and adaptation to change.

Multiple factors such as qualifications, overall experience and position responsibilities will be used to determine the successful candidate's actual salary within the expected range.

The expected salary range for this position is from $100,000 - $135,500.
