Role Overview
Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, material receipt and dispatch, logistics coordination, and accurate stock records.
Maintain optimal inventory levels, timely material movement, procedural compliance, and continuous operational improvement.
Stores and Inventory Management
- Manage daily receiving, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Ensure material identification, segregation, and storage practices are followed.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through stock verification and cycle counting.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with procurement.
- Apply FIFO, FEFO, and inventory control procedures where applicable.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
Logistics and Documentation
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities and dispatch schedules.
- Coordinate with transporters, freight providers, and logistics partners.
- Track shipments and resolve transportation-related issues.
- Maintain goods receipt notes, delivery challans, invoices, and dispatch records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and logistics.
