Senior Storage Engineer

Design, implement, and manage enterprise storage solutions across a diverse range of on-premises and cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. Continuously monitor storage performance and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks while planning for future growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including silicon design, CAD, operations, and infrastructure engineering, to align storage solutions with evolving business and technical requirements. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for storage architecture, operational procedures, and compliance policies. Co-lead storage infrastructure projects, driving technical execution and mentoring engineers to build team capability. Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and security standards, including encryption, access control, and audit readiness. Support backup and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity, availability, and rapid recovery for critical workloads. Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience. This role will require access to information that is controlled for export under export control regulations, potentially under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations or Export Administration Regulations, the EU Dual Use Regulation, and/or other export control regulations. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to provide either proof of their country of citizenship or proof of their US. residency or other protected status (e.g., under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) for assessment of eligibility to access the export-controlled information. Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 7+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration. 3+ years with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation. 3+ Years supporting Engineering at a semiconductor company Expertise in storage platforms such as NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage, or similar. Strong knowledge of storage protocols (iSCSI, FC, NFS, SMB).
