About the Role
Qualcomm seeks a Senior Staff Cyber Security Engineer to lead security for large datacenter and sovereign AI deployments in Riyadh. You will design and operationalize infrastructure identity, perimeter security, and data sovereignty controls.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical security lead for large datacenter and sovereign AI deployments, applying deep expertise in cryptography, key management, and secure architecture.
- Design and operationalize Infrastructure Identity & PKI, producing detailed runbooks for operations.
- Own perimeter security architecture and hands on firewall operations, configuring next generation firewalls.
- Lead Data Sovereignty & Compliance assurance, auditing system architecture against regulatory frameworks.
- Architect storage security controls, implementing encryption at rest and strict access controls.
- Define Kubernetes & container security posture, establishing cluster security policies.
- Drive vulnerability management across the inference software stack.
- Lead Security Incident Response activities, coordinating investigation and remediation.
- Lead security architecture reviews and root cause analyses.
- Design and enforce identity and access management controls.
- Perform threat modeling and abuse case analysis for infrastructure, platform, and AI systems.
- Provide KSA on site security leadership, interface with Humain's security teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of cybersecurity relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- 1+ year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
- 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (Director level and above).
- Cybersecurity relevant certifications.
- Fluency in Arabic.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of cybersecurity relevant work experience.
- OR High school diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of cybersecurity relevant work experience.
