Senior Specialist - Software Engineering (AWS & Java)

An opportunity to j oin the Market Platforms organization to work in the newly formed team of Software Development and DevOps specialists to help build, support and enhanc e operational efficiency of numerous applications , critical to running Nasdaq markets on 24-hour online schedule .

As a Senior Software Developer Specialist, your responsibilities will be to contribute to the software and infrastructural enhancements of the covered applications.

You will also provide monitoring, answer support calls, and help resolve production issues for these applications during the US night hours . In this role, you will facilitate collaboration between software development and IT operations teams to streamline software delivery and infrastructure changes.

Critical competencies will include software development, building microservices, RESTful API, and browser-based user interfaces. R e q uired competencies will also include automation tools, cloud services, software development practices, and system administration techniques, ensuring ef f icient and reliable operation of modern IT environments.

Besides working closely with your colleagues in Mumbai you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
