Role overview
BNY is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer at Senior Specialist level for its Finance Hub team in Manchester.
The role develops scalable solutions and AI-enabled capabilities across data platforms and applications.
The position covers the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through design, build, and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Define source-to-target mapping, lineage, and data quality rules.
- Oversee ETL design in Oracle and ensure reconciliations and validations are in place.
- Partner with the Axiom team on model point alignment and submission readiness.
- Drive UAT planning and execution and coordinate production cutover.
- Manage stakeholder communication, status updates, and risk and issue management.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, AI, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Have experience in software development.
- Demonstrate strong Python, HDFS, and Oracle database knowledge.
- Have skills in PySpark, HDFS, SQL, Airflow, data modeling, and ETL processing.
- Bring excellent communication and proven stakeholder engagement skills.
