Senior Business Analyst reviews and analyses key business metrics in order to devise plans for improvement, then communicates these findings and plans to key stakeholders in the business.
The findings of Senior Business Analyst must be able to turn into functional solution that can be divided and prioritize into multiple sprints that serve different key stakeholder in the entity
Job Responsibilities
- Able to evaluate business cases driven by product managers and establish functional roadmaps in order to fully achieve business cases.
- Able to analyse business cases driven by product managers and come up with multiple solutions alternatives from different perspective (digitalization perspective, Time to market perspective) for each milestone in the roadmap.
- Able to demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages for each selected solution option to stakeholders.
- Able to model functional scope in different forms to stakeholders.
- Able to discuss and align the functional scope with different parties in the SDLC
- Able to deal requirements for both waterfall and agile projects.
- Able to plan for requirements gathering.
- Able to analyse requirements across different requirement in the project or requirement in different projects
- Able to fully detailed the requirement and its scenarios
- Able to establish acceptance criteria for each requirement
- Able to manage requirements in the requirements repository
- Able to reuse the requirements in different projects
- Able to trace the requirement from its inception to its retirement
- Able to establish a test cases scenario.
- Able to conduct UAT sessions to different stakeholders.
- Able to sign-off the UAT from different stakeholders.
- Able to raise UAT issues to concerned department.
- Ensure fully adherence to stipulated business Policies and procedures.
- Contribute by identifying any valid points can be added to the Risk Policy, as well as participate in revision of existing policy once required.
- Adherence to all regulations and control function within the company in order to ensure that governance, Audit, risk and compliance matters are carried out.
- Fully adherence to the cybersecurity policies, processes, standards and regulations.
- Adherence to building requirements that are under Islamic umbrella
- Prepares departmental reports of EMKAN in a timely and accurate manner to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
- Responsible for confidentiality of information that they have access to or came across during their employment at EMKAN.
- Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any IT fields (Master’s degree is preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business analysis.
- Prior Experience in Banking sector is preferred.
