We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Business Analyst to join our Engineering team.

This role is located in Chennai.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Serve as a techno-functional Business Analyst supporting AML monitoring initiatives, partnering with business, compliance, and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements for NICE Actimize SAM & ActOne.
  • Analyze financial transaction data, including ACH, wire transfers, trades, card transactions, and other relevant payment and securities activity, to support AML monitoring, rule effectiveness, data validation, and issue resolution.
  • Lead and document source-to-target data mapping and ETL requirements for onboarding and transforming data from upstream applications and data lake sources into Actimize, ensuring data quality, lineage, completeness, and alignment with monitoring objectives/requirements.
  • Support the implementation, enhancement, testing, and optimization of Actimize scenarios, rules, alerts, and related workflows by conducting impact assessments, validating outputs, and collaborating across change delivery and production support teams.
  • Familiar with Actimize product SAM,UDM and ACTONE. Technology: JAVA + Angular developer

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Significant experience in a Business Analyst, techno-functional analyst, or related role within financial services, with exposure to AML, financial crime compliance, or transaction monitoring environments.
  • Strong knowledge of financial data domains relevant to AML monitoring, including ACH, wires, trades, card transactions, and related transactional attributes, with the ability to perform hands-on data analysis using SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience with data mapping, ETL analysis, requirements documentation, test support, and stakeholder management, along with familiarity with NICE Actimize SAM rules, alerts, and monitoring processes.
