Role Overview
Couchbase is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to drive the technical components of sales engagements for its operational data platform.
The position focuses on application code, application development, software development, business solutions, and customer-facing pre-sales work.
The role is based in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Consult with customers and prospects to define challenges and opportunities.
- Map challenges to the Couchbase ecosystem and communicate sustainable business value.
- Lead workshops, demonstrations, discovery activities, and proof-of-concept or pilot success.
- Partner with sales on account strategy and identify additional opportunities.
- Advise technical and business stakeholders on Couchbase solutions and applicability.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering and create technical collateral.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years in a pre-sales, customer-facing, or consulting role.
- 3+ years of software development or related industry experience.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases or distributed high-performance systems.
- Programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET, C, or SQL.
