- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technology strategies and solution designs
- Design and document end to end solution architectures covering infrastructure, security, integration, and scalability
- Lead architectural engagements such as Discovery and Assessment
- Oversee solution implementation to ensure alignment with design and standards
- Define and enforce engineering and architectural standards and best practices
- Conduct architectural risk assessments and define mitigation strategies
- Mentor and support architects and technical team members
- Provide leadership in large scale architectural transformations
- Establish and maintain secure customer data management processes
- Follow off boarding and project closure procedures for data handling
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- SEI Software Architecture Professional credentials and TOGAF Standard certification
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with relevant certification
- Expert level knowledge of modern software and system architecture best practices for large scale enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of solution architecture methodologies, frameworks, and patterns
- Advanced experience with technology evaluation and selection
- Strong skills in architectural design and modeling
- Practical experience with developing and maintaining architectural documentation
- Advanced experience with cross functional leadership
- Strong experience with mentoring and coaching architects

About the role
- Shape strategic enterprise solutions end to end – from discovery and assessment through design and delivery – across diverse technologies and complex client environments.
- Collaborate closely with architects and technical leaders, guide architectural decisions, and influence SoftServe’s architecture standards and competence development.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and translate requirements into actionable, scalable technology strategies and solution designs.
- Design and document end to end solution architectures, covering infrastructure, security, integration, and scalability aspects.
- Lead architectural engagements and service executions (such as Discovery and Assessment).
- Oversee and support solution implementation activities, guiding technical teams.
- Define and enforce engineering and architectural standards, best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct architectural risk assessments during all stages of the solution lifecycle.
- Mentor and support architects and technical team members.
- Provide higher level leadership in large scale architectural transformations.
- Establish and maintain a secure customer data management process.
- Follow off boarding and project closure procedures for data handling.
- Follow Privacy Information and Data Protection company policies.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
