Senior Software QA Engineer

Role Details

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications.
• Perform sanity, regression, and end-to-end testing for user interfaces and REST APIs.
• Develop automated tests using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, and RestAssured.
• Report bugs and verify fixes.
• Design, maintain, and execute non-functional tests using JMeter.
• Analyze and report regression test runs.

Knowledge and Skills

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• At least 7 years of industry experience testing distributed systems and SaaS software.
• Experience testing web services or REST APIs using code or tools such as SoapUI or Postman.
• Proven automation and scripting experience using Java with tools or frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or RestAssured.
• Experience with code management and version control software such as Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Solid knowledge of SQL using Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Solid knowledge of MongoDB.
