Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
12+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Go).
5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role managing people, leading teams, managing managers, and delivering software products to market
5+ years of experience leading teams that build customer-facing, browser-based applications, with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
5+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
3+ years of experience leading teams that design, build, and scale internal and external APIs, with a strong understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectures.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with developing and deploying software for connected vehicles or IoT devices.
Experience with data analytics and machine learning.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Familiarity with the automotive industry and commercial vehicle operations.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

This position is leadership level 5 and ranges from $141,700-$268,300.
For California candidates this position is a leadership level 5 and ranges from $148,800-$281,700.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
